
Adam Houston
Dr. Adam Houston is a professor of Atmospheric Sciences in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. He joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) faculty as an assistant professor in the Department of Geosciences in 2006. Prior to this he served as a visiting instructor at UNL in the 2005-2006 academic year and served as both a visiting assistant professor and postdoctoral research assistant in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Purdue University in the 2004-2005 academic year. Dr. Houston received his Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his B.S. in meteorology from Texas A&M University.

Ben Moll
Ben joined the SSRG as a Master’s student under Dr. Houston in the fall of 2023. Before this, he received his B.S. in Physics at Concordia University Nebraska in the spring of 2023.

Mark De Bruin
Mark is a second-year master’s student and Graduate Research Assistant studying under Dr. Houston. He completed his undergraduate studies in meteorology at Iowa State University in 2023.

Robert Szot
Robert is a first-year master’s student and Graduate Research Assistant studying under Dr. Houston. He is originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and completed his undergraduate studies in meteorology at Florida State University in 2024.

Amy Conner
Amy is a senior undergraduate student studying under Dr. Houston.

Anna James
Anna is a senior undergraduate student studying under Dr. Houston.

Kylee Matousek
Kylee is a senior undergraduate student studying under Dr. Houston.
